DIRECTIONS

Nestled against the valley above the Rhône River in the canton of Valais, Chalet Le Cerf is about 1.5 hours drive from Geneva airport and only 25 minutes from Sion and Martigny.

Flying

La Tzoumaz is located 160km south-east of Geneva Airport, just 1 hour 40 minutes drive, making it one of the closest resorts to Geneva. Trains from Geneva to Sion cost in the region of CHF45 return, and local trains and buses run from Sion to Riddes (the bottom of the mountain).

By Train

Different European trains run to Sion. Transfer onto local trains at Sion to reach Riddes. We can recommend a reliable local taxi company and help arrange your pick up from the station (50 CHF from Riddes, 110 CHF from Martigny, 150 CHF from Sion)

 

Driving

The drive from Geneva Airport usually takes 90 minutes to 2 hours.

There are tolled motorways from all the European countries to Sion.

Directions from Geneva

You can access the motorway easily from the Swiss side of Geneva airport; Turn left onto the motorway as you leave the airport and follow the green signs for Lausanne (A1, E25, E62). Stay on the motorway and follow signs for Simplon (A9). Take junction 24 for Riddes and follow signs for 15km along mountain roads to La Tzoumaz. As you enter the town you will pass the main lift (telecabin) on the right-hand side. Chalet Le Cerf is further on the left at the sign to Chalet Le Luge. Detailed maps will be provided before the time of arrival.
